This summer (2015), we experimented with an online, synchronous, 5 day, 40 hr professional development course on Engineering Inspired by Nature, and it was a success! With over 50 applicants, ten selected educators participated in the course from across the United States. These educators will begin teaching EIbN to their students this fall, and the teacher educator in the course is introducing the curriculum to his pre-service teachers.
